Manufacturing Client - Production Technician
Location: Rockland County, NY (Valley Cottage, Congers, Haverstraw, Nanuet and Spring Valley areas)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (On-site)
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview A well-established manufacturing company in Rockland County is seeking a Production Technician to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with others to support the accurate preparation and manufacturing of adhesives and coatings. The company offers comprehensive training and a strong benefits package.
Products are sold worldwide to industrial users for use in the automotive, aircraft and aerospace, chemical processing, metallurgical, power generation, and semiconductor industries.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Follow written and verbal instructions to execute production processes accurately
- Perform safety checks and ensure proper setup prior to production runs
- Mix and prepare batches according to detailed specifications and batching sheets
- Operate mixers, blenders, pumps, and other production equipment
- Monitor batch quality to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards
- Weigh, transport, and stage raw materials for production
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, containers, and production areas
- Uphold all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Collaborate professionally with team members, supervisors, and management
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic math skills (including measurement and weighing)
- Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate prior to start date
- At least 1 year of experience in chemical production, batching, or compounding
- General handyman or mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including a half-face respirator
