Program Coordinator, Revenue Cycle (Fully Remote - Texas)
Location: Remote (Must be based in Texas)
Employment Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire
Target Rate: $45/hr and Negotiable
Schedule: Flexible start between 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, consistent daily; 30 min - 1 hr lunch
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to support revenue cycle operations within a hospital setting. This role focuses on driving process improvements, analyzing performance data, and managing key operational workflows.
As a subject matter expert across billing, denials, and collections, you will use reporting and data insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. This is a dynamic, project-driven role ideal for someone detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple areas of the revenue cycle.
What You'll Do
- Analyze revenue cycle reports, including denials and billing data, to identify trends and performance gaps
- Translate data into actionable insights and improvement opportunities
- Lead cross-departmental discussions to review findings and drive process improvements
- Own and monitor key processes, including automated workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Act as a "watchdog" over revenue cycle operations to maintain quality and compliance
- Manage multiple projects and shift focus as business priorities change
- Partner with cross-functional teams and report findings to leadership
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations, ideally in a hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of billing, denials, and collections processes
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with process improvement, automation, and AI concepts in operations
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Ability to manage end-to-end processes and identify operational gaps
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
