Job Title: Project Lead - Dynamics 365 Implementation (Contract) Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Rate: Day rate (competitive, DOE)
• Location: Dublin City Centre
• Working Model: 1-2 days onsite per week

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise to support a key transformation programme, migrating from an on-premise Dynamics environment to Dynamics 365 (cloud).

This role sits within a not-for-profit organisation, offering a strong opportunity to contribute to meaningful, socially impactful work while delivering a critical technology transformation.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who understands Dynamics in depth, can support and guide the system, and is comfortable taking on light project leadership / coordination responsibilities within a wider delivery team.

Key Responsibilities Dynamics System Expertise & Support

• Act as the go to SME for Microsoft Dynamics, supporting both the current on prem environment and the transition to Dynamics 365.
• Provide hands on system support, troubleshooting, and guidance to business users.
• Work closely with internal teams and third party vendors to ensure smooth system operation and migration.
• Support system configuration, optimisation, and adoption of best practices.

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Support delivery of the Dynamics 365 implementation programme.
• Assist with planning, coordination, and tracking of key delivery activities.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
• Support testing phases (UAT), data validation, and go live readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into practical system solutions.
• Support user training, documentation, and adoption initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong, hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (on prem and/or Dynamics 365).
• Deep understanding of Dynamics functionality and system capabilities.
• Experience supporting or working on a Dynamics implementation or migration project.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide practical system support.
• Exposure to project delivery environments, with experience coordinating activities or workstreams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in on prem to Dynamics 365 cloud migrations.
• Familiarity with data migration, integrations, and testing cycles.
• Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience working in a contracting / fast paced delivery environment.
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics or project management certifications.
