We are seeking an experienced Building Project Manager to support the delivery of a major construction and remediation programme.
You will manage projects from assessment and design through to remediation and completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and contractors, you will oversee project plans, contracts, risks, and programme reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects through the full project life cycle.
- Review building assessments and provide recommendations on priority and scope.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and delivery milestones.
- Manage supplier performance and ensure value for money.
- Provide regular reporting and assurance to key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and governance requirements.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering construction or built environment projects.
- Strong project and contract management skills.
- Experience managing contractors and supply chain partners.
- Knowledge of NEC ECC and PSC contracts, including Early Warnings, compensation events, and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting skills.
- Experience managing budgets and ensuring value for money.
- Understanding of contract law and dispute avoidance.
