On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Project Support Officer - Security and Assurance (Inside IR35) for an 11 month hybrid contract based 1 or 2 days per week in Corsham.
Note: SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position, (and speed at which we require a postholder in situ), preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance

About the Role
Defence Digital provides digital and technology services to our Armed Forces, ensuring they can operate securely via radio, satellite, and the Internet. Operating at scale, with an annual budget in excess of £2Bn and a diverse team of 2,500 colleagues, we're aiming to make our Armed Forces some of the most technologically advanced in the world.
The SATCOM Programme is responsible for the sustainment and development of the MOD's strategic, worldwide satellite-based communications capability. The SATCOM SK6 Delivery Team is tasked with ensuring continuity of the required capability and its future development to satisfy the ever-increasing demand for Defence communications and to defeat the growing array of sophisticated threats.
Responsibilities
. Governance activities, including supporting Security Working Groups and formal design reviews.
. Project and Contract Security support, including tracking Assurance milestones and engagement with MOD delivery teams and security authorities.
. Administrative support to security team, Including managing the scheduling of various security working groups and meetings, creating agendas, and minutes. Booking various rooms and meetings to support effective security management. Providing information management support.
. Provide Effective and pro-active security stakeholder management (Space Command, Front Line Commands, NCSC National Technical Authority etc.).
