This is a hands-on role working on critical risk applications and calculation engines, supporting front-to-back trade life cycle processes in a fast-paced financial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Python-based risk applications and calculation engines
• Work closely with trading and risk teams to deliver robust solutions
• Contribute to the design and optimisation of market risk platforms
• Integrate systems within cloud-based and distributed environments
• Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure scalability and performance

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience in banking/financial services
• Proven experience with risk systems, market risk, or trading platforms
• Understanding of trade life cycle processes
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Familiarity with Athena ecosystem (eg SecDB, Quartz) or similar platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (preferred)
