QA Automation Engineer - 6-month rolling contract, €420-€480/day, hybrid working (1-2 days per week) in central Dublin.

This long-term role is within a large development team building a suite of new applications on a government programme. You will primarily focus on API testing, working with large suites of microservices in cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain QA automation frameworks for testing large sets of APIs.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP UI, and others.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality of cloud-based applications.
  • Support UI test framework development where required.
Desired Skills
  • 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
  • In-depth experience with API testing and automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP UI, and similar tools.
  • Experience building and maintaining UI test frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tooling such as TFS / Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Experience testing cloud-based systems and applications.
