Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team, focusing on routine testing of animal pharmaceuticals. This role requires an individual who can perform tests using HPLC, FTIR, and other analytical methods, while documenting findings accurately. The position is based on a day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine testing on animal pharmaceuticals using methods such as HPLC and FTIR.
  • Document findings from tests accurately and thoroughly.
  • Perform analytical and wet chemistry tests as part of quality control processes.
  • Engage in basic testing to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP standards, although prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required to maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in quality control procedures within a laboratory setting.
  • Experience with analytical chemistry and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Familiarity with GMP practices and quality control standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field, preferably Chemistry.
  • Previous experience in a GMP facility is advantageous but not required.
Work Environment

The position involves working primarily as one of two contractors in the role, with a schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. This is a 6+ month contract with the potential for extension. The role offers the opportunity to work in a stable company environment focused on quality control in the pharmaceutical industry.

This is a Contract position based out of Elwood, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
