Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / CMM Technician to support a global leader in advanced automation and high-tech manufacturing solutions in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical inspection experience who is looking to grow into CMM programming and advanced quality systems within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other benchtop metrology equipment
  • Interpret blueprints using ANSI GD&T standards
  • Operate and learn to program CMM equipment (PC-DMIS preferred) directly from CAD models
  • Inspect high-risk materials including new supplier parts, first-time builds, and engineering changes
  • Participate in MRB activities, verifying and dispositioning nonconforming material
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams
  • Collect and analyze quality data using Excel and internal systems
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of mechanical inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating CMM equipment (programming experience strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Exposure to CAD geometry/models preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred:
  • Associate's degree in technical discipline
  • PC-DMIS programming experience
  • Experience in precision machining, automation, aerospace, or electro-mechanical manufacturing

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
