React Developer

Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)

Contract: 12-month initial contract

Day Rate: £250 per day Outside IR35

We're working with a well-established global organisation seeking a React Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering modern, scalable digital products used by thousands of users.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and developing responsive web applications using modern Front End technologies.
• Building data-driven user interfaces and dynamic form-based experiences.
• Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Contributing to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Supporting best practices around code quality, testing, and software delivery.

What We're Looking For

• 5-8 years' experience in software engineering and Front End development.
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building complex, data-driven user interfaces.
• Exposure to dynamic forms and schema-driven application development.
• Strong understanding of modern Front End architecture and development practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks and automated quality assurance.
• Ability to work effectively within distributed engineering teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.
• Experience working within highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Relevant software engineering or technical certifications.
