React.js Developer - London

A leading global digital consultancy is seeking an experienced React.js Developer to join a high-profile client programme delivering modern, scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js
• Build and integrate robust APIs and Back End services
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code
• Ensure solutions meet key Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, security, scalability and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions and architectural discussions
• Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing applications
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices

Required Skills & Experience

? Strong commercial experience developing applications using React.js
? Solid experience with Back End development using Java, Node.js or similar technologies
? Strong experience designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs
? Proven experience delivering solutions with a focus on Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including:

• Performance
• Scalability
• Security
• Resilience
• Availability

? Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
? Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD and code quality
? Experience working within cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) would be advantageous

Desirable Experience

• Microservices architecture
• Containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise digital transformation programmes
