Location: Remote Duration: 6-Month Contract Experience Range: 5-9 Our client is seeking a Release Train Engineer to lead coordinated release planning and delivery across a large, complex enterprise technology transformation involving 90+ software development teams.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead coordinated release planning activities across 90+ software development teams
• Manage multiple concurrent delivery workstreams, dependencies, risks, and milestones
• Partner with Program Managers, Project Managers, and Product stakeholders to develop integrated release plans
• Facilitate cross-team planning, readiness reviews, and dependency management
• Drive transparency through reporting, tracking, and escalation management
• Proactively resolve delivery risks and impediments

Requirements

• 59 years of hands-on Release Train Engineering experience
• Expert-level knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and enterprise agile delivery models
• Demonstrated proficiency in release planning coordination and release management tooling
• Strong understanding of middleware and technical infrastructure in enterprise environments
• Proven stakeholder management and program/project coordination skills
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-team dependencies and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to drive transparency and accountability through metrics, reporting, and risk escalation
