You MUST have the following:

• A background as an advanced .NET Developer
• 18months + experience with low-code AI tooling and solutions like Claude Code and Cursor
• A strong enthusiasm for AI - projects at home etc
• Experience replacing Legacy systems with the use of AI
• Azure (AKS, Key Vault)
• PostgreSQL
• AgenticAI
• TypeScript
• Message broker services eg Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Experience with N8N automation in an enterprise level environment

Role: REMOTE Principal AI Engineer (Solutions Architect ProCode LowCode Low Code Claude ClaudeCode Cursor .NET Agile Software Engineer Developer Programmer AI AgenticAI N8N Azure Key Vault PostgreSQL TypeScript Kubernetes AKS Finance Financial Services Remote Contract Contractor Consultancy) required by our financial client in Dublin. You will enter into a 10 year-old company that has grown rapidly and experienced significant success. The initial technology that was built, in-house, has not been modernised however. There is significant Legacy software. The CTO and board are aggressive in their desire to create efficiency through automation and AI and create a core platform that can allow the business to rapidly release new products to market. As such, you and one other senior contractor will come in to the engineering team and lead the implementation of AI and thus the migration to a modern tech stack. You will have a ProCode background that will include C# and .NET as that is their Legacy stack. You will also have Azure as the majority of the stack will remain Microsoft. You will have a minimum of 18 months strong AI experience and be very familiar with a range of the products on the market. AI will be your passion. You will live and breathe it. The end target is a highly automated, responsive environment that can rapidly deliver solutions to the business at their request in a low-code manner. You will be very proficient, if not advanced, in tools like Claude Code and Cursor. If you have knowledge of N8N at an enterprise level, that would also be beneficial but is not essential.

The role can be entirely remote with one visit in the office per month.

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Rate: €500 - €670/day
