We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced with scientific and analytical software tools, along with the ability to support structured screen recording and annotation workflows with precision and consistency.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured technical workflows, screen recording, annotation review, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their software expertise to record realistic workflows, annotate interface elements accurately, follow detailed staging instructions, use designated capture tools, and contribute to high-quality technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Screen Recording & Workflow Capture

• Record screen sessions demonstrating real workflows in professional analytical software
• Provide clear verbal narration explaining each step of the workflow during recordings
• Follow staging instructions to recreate specific software interface states
• Use specialized capture tools to record workflows accurately

Annotation & Interface Review

• Annotate screenshots by drawing precise bounding boxes around relevant UI elements
• Follow detailed task guidelines to maintain data quality and consistency
• Ensure annotations and recordings accurately reflect real-world professional usage

Structured Task Execution

• Work independently while maintaining consistency across structured task workflows
• Support high-quality output through careful execution and attention to detail
• Help maintain strong standards for quality across recorded and annotated deliverables

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

• Familiarity with professional scientific or analytical software such as MATLAB, Origin, Stata, or EViews
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions
• Ability to work independently and deliver tasks within defined timelines
• Experience documenting or demonstrating software workflows

Technical Requirements

• Access to a physical Mac computer
• Ability to create a fresh macOS user profile if required
• Strong English communication skills

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Prior experience with data collection, annotation, or QA workflows
• Experience recording or documenting software usage processes
• Familiarity with structured data labeling environments
