Sales Consultant - Umbrella Payroll & Recruitment Partnerships

Salary: Competitive Basic + Uncapped Commission (£45,000+ Year One)

Our client is a leading provider of umbrella payroll and contractor payroll solutions, supporting recruitment agencies and contractors across the United Kingdom. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a confident and commercially driven Sales Consultant to manage and grow an established portfolio of recruitment agency accounts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys outbound sales, account development, relationship building, and business-to-business sales within the recruitment or contractor payroll sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing recruitment agency accounts
• Build strong relationships with recruitment consultants, managers, and directors
• Make outbound calls to develop existing client relationships and increase contractor referrals
• Identify opportunities to grow contractor payroll volumes
• Promote umbrella payroll and contractor services solutions
• Deliver excellent client service and account management
• Maintain accurate customer relationship management records
• Support wider business development and sales growth initiatives

Requirements

• Experience within umbrella payroll, contractor payroll, recruitment, or business-to-business sales
• Proven account management or sales experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident making outbound sales calls
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach

Desirable

• Knowledge of IR35 and contractor payroll compliance
• Experience working with recruitment agencies
• Experience using customer relationship management systems
