Salary: €32,000 - 35,000 per annum, paid monthly + Commission Structure
Culligan Home Products Ireland Ltd is seeking an energetic and friendly Sales Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a leading provider of water treatment solutions in Ireland, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and services to our residential and commercial customers.
In the role of Sales Assistant, you will support our sales efforts by engaging with customers, providing information about our water treatment products, and assisting with the sales process.
Core role and responsibilities Customer Engagement & Sales
- Proactively engage with homeowners and businesses to understand their water quality concerns.
- Recommend suitable products and services based on technical knowledge and customer requirements.
- Prepare and present quotes, explain benefits, and guide customers through purchase decisions.
Lead Generation & Follow-up
- Follow up on incoming leads via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and local marketing.
Technical Understanding & Support
- Maintain a working knowledge of the companies water treatment products (softeners, filtration, RO Systems, etc.).
- Collaborate with service and installations teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Provide post-sale support and check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Update customer information, appointments, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with product developments.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working in a similar position, (Sales, Customer Service)
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in recording information.
- Resilient, motivated, and target driven.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
