We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Consultant with strong expertise across GRC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and SuccessFactors to support our client on a long-term contract assignment. This is a key role within a well-established SAP landscape, working closely with end users, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure secure, stable, and efficient SAP operations.

You will join a respected team of SAP specialists in a mature on-premise S/4HANA environment, taking ownership of day-to-day SAP Security activities while acting as a trusted point of contact for users and business partners across the organisation.

The role provides remote working with some on-site attendance as required, covered via an agreed on-site/off-site daily rate structure.

Role Overview

This is a support-focused, hands-on role that blends operational stability with ongoing improvement initiatives. You will play a central role in maintaining system integrity and user access while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and audit readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the primary SAP Security and GRC contact for business users and stakeholders
• Supporting end users with access, authorisations, and security-related issues
• Managing change requests (CRs), incidents, and security queues in a structured and organised manner
• Overseeing SAP GRC processes including risk analysis, role design, approvals, and controls
• Supporting SAP Fiori security concepts and role management
• Providing security support for SuccessFactors, ensuring correct permissions and compliance
• Working closely with functional and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with business partners, auditors, and IT teams
• Contributing to enhancements, optimisation activities, and new project work alongside BAU support
• This role will suit someone who is highly organised, and can balance operational support with improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as an SAP Security Consultant in complex enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Security and GRC (Access Control, risk analysis, role design)
• Solid experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori security concepts
• Experience working with SuccessFactors security and authorisations
• Excellent functional, configuration, testing, and support experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident engaging with end users, business stakeholders, and technical teams
