SAP Time Functional Consultant

Rate: Up to £86.00 per hour Umbrella

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SAP Time Functional Consultant to join a Reward Operations team within the aerospace sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Time Management solutions, working closely with business users and technical teams to deliver effective time and attendance processes.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders relating to time and attendance processes, including working time, absences, overtime, and shift planning.
Design and configure SAP Time Management solutions, including time schemas, time rules, time types, absence types, work schedules, and public holiday calendars.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP Time Management with SAP Payroll, Organizational Management, and Personnel Administration.
Develop functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and reports, working closely with ABAP developers to support accurate implementation.
Conduct and support unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, process flows, and end-user training materials.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver end-user training to support adoption.
Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, keeping up to date with SAP best practice and emerging technologies.

Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP Time Management and at least five years of hands-on configuration and implementation experience.
In-depth knowledge of SAP Time Management processes, including positive and negative time recording, time evaluation, and time data integration.
Expertise in configuring time schemas and rules, work schedules, public holiday calendars, attendances, and absences.
Strong understanding of integration points between SAP Time Management and other SAP HCM modules, particularly SAP Payroll.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working on at least two full-cycle SAP implementation projects.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
SAP Time Management certification.
Experience with SAP HANA Time Management.
Familiarity with xAtlas or other third-party time management systems.
Experience in a similar industry environment.
Project management or team leadership experience.
