We are supporting a major Public Sector Defence programme and are looking for experienced SC Cleared GCP DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile digital transformation initiative.

This is an opportunity to work within a secure environment delivering cutting-edge cloud and AI capabilities across critical Defence systems. The role will suit engineers who enjoy operating in fast-paced, user-focused environments and are comfortable engaging directly with stakeholders and end users.

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Background in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Experience working with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC)
• Exposure to Google's AI ecosystem including Vertex AI, Gemini, and related tooling
• Experience delivering solutions within secure or highly regulated environments
• Strong understanding of cloud automation, deployment, and operational best practices
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams

Clearance Requirements

• Active SC Clearance is essential
• DV Clearance is highly desirable
• Sole UK nationality is preferred due to the nature of the programme

Location
Candidates should be willing to work on-site as required across MOD locations including:

• Corsham
• Abbey Wood
• Other South West Defence sites

Regular on-site attendance will be required depending on project phase and operational needs.
