Role: Security Architect/Security Consultant
SC cleared (mandatory)
£500 Outside ir35

Start 18/04
End 3 months initially - client has opportunity to extend

Must be able to:
Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders.
Take ownership of workstreams.
Operate independently - not be led by the client.
Hold their own in discussions with technical and non technical stakeholders.
Expected to work across different areas of DWP throughout the week.

Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong background as a Security Architect or Senior Security Consultant.
Ability to work autonomously and provide high level security guidance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in large government environments.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
Comfortable working in a small, high trust team.

Technical Exposure
AWS (highly beneficial).
DWP experience (strong advantage).

Nice to Have
Experience leading or mentoring small teams.
Experience in similar government departments or large public sector programmes.
