Location: Hybrid (Nearshore)

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading organisation in the telecommunications sector who are looking for a SecOps Parser Specialist to support critical security initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact security operations, helping to shape how telecom data is ingested, analysed, and used to detect threats in a complex, real-world environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and optimise log parsers for telecom and network security data
  • Onboard new data sources into SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.)
  • Improve detection capabilities by ensuring high-quality, structured data ingestion
  • Investigate and resolve parsing and data quality issues
  • Work closely with Security Operations and Network teams
  • Contribute to enhancing threat visibility and response effectiveness

What We're Looking For

Strong SecOps experience, particularly with parser development/log ingestion
Background in the telecommunications sector (highly desirable)
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (eg, Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)
Good understanding of log formats (syslog, JSON, XML)
Confident working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments

Nice to Have

Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
Knowledge of telecom protocols and network traffic
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK or threat detection frameworks
Cloud security experience (Azure, AWS)
