Security & Compliance Infrastructure Engineer

3 months +

Hybrid working (2-3 days on site in London)

You think in audit trails, not application logic. You've built systems that have to be defensible under regulatory scrutiny not just functional. If compliance-by-design is how you naturally approach engineering, this is the role for you.

You'll be building the regulatory infrastructure underpinning a government-facing code screening platform the part that has to hold up in review. That means immutable audit logs, cryptographic tamper detection, a restricted-entity checker against sanctions lists, and evidence packs that tell a complete and defensible compliance story.

This is hands-on engineering in a high-stakes environment, not writing compliance documentation. Everything you build will be scrutinised. It needs to be right.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or compliance engineering in regulated environments
  • Hands-on NIST 800-171/800-53 or equivalent implementation experience
  • Practical experience with entity/sanctions screening systems
  • Immutable audit infrastructure design (hash chaining, append-only stores)
  • Policy-as-code and rule engine development
  • Defence, FedRAMP, ITAR, or export control background highly desirable
  • CISSP, CISA, or CISM a plus

If you are available and interested in this new role please send a current CV for review
