Security Engineer - Vulnerability Management - 4 months, Hybrid/Manchester, to £600 p/d inside IR35
A Senior IT Security Engineer is required to work on the vulnerability management and co-ordinate the penetration testing working closely with the engineering and platform teams. You will have extensive IT security experience, ideally gained within a large, enterprise Cloud (AWS/Azure) environment with good knowledge of vulnerability management (vulnerability scanning, analysis, risk prioritisation, remediation management, reporting, governance), Qualys/Tenable and penetration testing. You will have excellent stakeholder management, communication skills. The role will involve liaising with the business, stakeholders, working with the 3rd party suppliers, dealing with the vulnerability management and co-ordinating the penetration testing liaising with the technical teams. Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Any experience gained within a financial services/finance/banking/retail/supply chain/logistics environment advantageous though not essential. The role will require 2 days a week on site near Manchester.
