This is a senior leadership role within Group Internal Audit (GIA), the third line of defence for Bank of Ireland. As Senior Audit Manager - Credit Risk, you will shape and deliver assurance across one of the Group's key risk areas. You will lead complex, risk based audits, provide clear insight to senior management and committees, and help strengthen credit risk management and control frameworks across the Group.
In this role, you will:You bring deep experience across banking Credit Risk and understand how effective risk management supports strong customer and business outcomes. You can translate complex regulatory and technical issues into clear insights that support decision making. You are confident engaging with senior stakeholders and can influence through thoughtful challenge and collaboration.
You enjoy developing others, creating an inclusive team environment and supporting capability growth. You are curious about emerging risks and motivated to continuously improve audit approaches and insight.
Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role:
A relevant Internal Audit qualification (Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Information Systems Auditor) or an accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA), or actively working towards one of these.
