Senior Authorised Person (SAP)

On-Site International are looking for a Senior Authorised Personfor a Project in Mainz, Germanystarting ASAP

Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in Europe - UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU - UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for relevant country of work.

Rate:

• €80/hour
• Relocation assistance provided

Duties:

• Responsibility for electrical operational safety, switchgear organisation and release processes in the assigned area of responsibility.
• ensures that all switching operations, disconnections, work approvals, and energizations are planned, approved, monitored, and documented in accordance with applicable safety rules, the Safe System of Work, and compliant procedures
• Responsibility for the correct application of procedures for: permit to Work, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Control of Hazardous Energies, Energization/Operational Procedures.
• Review, release, and technical control of switching instructions/switching programs for HV and/or LV systems.
• Authorization and coordination of safety-critical switching operations.
• Ensuring that switching operations are only carried out by suitably authorized persons (APs / qualified persons).
• Control of planned shutdowns, switchovers, and commissioning, taking into account safety, availability, and project deadlines

Hours:

• 10 hours paid Monday - Friday
• 7 hours paid Saturday

Duration:

• 6 months Initially

Required:

• Site card (CSCS/ECS/Safepass)
• AP Certification
• Up to date CV with 2 references
