RoleThe Senior Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for sourcing, developing, and maintaining high-quality commercial loans while helping manage the commercial portfolio and providing mentorship and oversight to other commercial lenders. This role involves evaluating loan applications, gathering and analyzing financial and related data to assess overall creditworthiness, structuring loans that meet the member's financial objectives while safeguarding the Credit Union's interests, and ensuring adherence to the Credit Union's lending policies, guidelines, and federal regulations.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of commercial lending experience. SBA 7a lending experience preferred. Demonstrated sales driving, relationship management, and results driven experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses: Undergraduate or equivalent experience.
Interpersonal Skills: Customer service, written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle multiple clients and ensure organization.
ADA RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 4-6 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements: Must be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out various complicated written and oral instructions.
