Senior Innovation Technologist

Location: London - hybrid working, 2x-3x days onsite per week

Contract: 6-12-month rolling contract

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

We are looking for a Senior Innovation Technologist who combines strong technical capability with creative thinking to build innovative digital products, prototypes and interactive experiences.

The successful candidate will use technology as a creative medium to bring ideas to life, working with designers, artists, strategists and developers to turn concepts into working solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly prototype ideas using code, electronics, sensors, AI and immersive technologies such as AR and VR.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, strategists and developers on experimental digital projects.
  • Bridge the gap between concept and implementation.
  • Turn early-stage ideas into working prototypes and demonstrable solutions.
  • Explore new and unexpected ways of using technology to solve business and customer problems.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of GCP cloud architecture, development and deployment, including Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Strong coding skills using languages such as JavaScript, Python and Java
  • Experience in UX/UI design
  • Experience across AI/ML, generative design and 3D engines, such as Unity
  • Strong rapid-prototyping capability
  • The ability to translate creative ideas into working technical solutions
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with creative and technical teams

  • Using AI to accelerate the software development life cycle.
  • Using IoT data to enable continuous insurance underwriting and more accurate pricing.
  • Creating a hyper-personalised loans product with unique rates, terms and conditions.
  • Creating a cost-optimised multi-model journey-management tool.
  • Developing interactive installations, digital billboards and technology-led campaigns.
  • Building experiential exhibits and immersive environments.
  • Using algorithms and data as tools of expression.
