Our client, a leading organization in the Green Bay area, is seeking a dedicated Senior Internal Auditor to join their team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be an integral part of the Internal Audit Department supporting the organization's commitment to excellence and integrity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor

Location: Green Bay, WI, US

Pay Range: $45 - $53 per hour (Depends on Experience)

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop comprehensive audit programs to identify control weaknesses and create actionable remediation plans.
  • Document audit procedures thoroughly to ensure clarity and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Identify and test key controls, providing insightful recommendations for process improvements.
  • Review audit work papers for accuracy and completeness to uphold audit quality standards.
  • Summarize post-audit reports and participate in discussions of findings and recommendations with leadership teams.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics.
  • Four to six years of audit experience preferred, with a strong understanding of internal controls and risk management.
  • CPA or CIA certification highly desirable.
  • Experience in public accounting and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance preferred.
  • Ability to understand and map end-to-end processes effectively.
