Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH has partnered with our client to identify a Senior IT Project Manager - Corporate Systems to support key enterprise initiatives focused on HR systems and broader corporate platforms. No C2C or H1B applicants, W2 only!
This is a highly visible, stakeholder-facing role where success is driven by communication, coordination, and the ability to keep complex initiatives moving forward across business and IT teams.
Overview
This role is centered on leading projects tied to HR systems, primarily Oracle HCM, while also supporting related corporate systems such as Payroll and Risk.
The day-to-day is less about hands-on technical work and more about:
  • Driving alignment across stakeholders
  • Running structured, outcome-focused meetings
  • Managing timelines, priorities, and dependencies
  • Ensuring clear communication across business and technology teams
This is an 80% coordination / 20% execution role and requires someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional IT projects focused on Oracle HCM and related corporate systems
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to define scope, priorities, and deliverables
  • Facilitate structured meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and follow-ups
  • Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and communication across teams
  • Drive alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Support system improvements, integrations, and ongoing optimization efforts
Required Qualifications
  • Strong background as an IT Project Manager in enterprise environments
  • PMP certification (active or lapsed acceptable)
  • Experience leading projects involving Oracle HCM
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience running structured, agenda-driven meetings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments (CSM, CSPO, or similar)
  • Experience supporting broader corporate systems (Payroll, Risk, etc.)
Work Environment & Details
  • Location: Pasadena, CA
  • Hybrid schedule (typically 1 day onsite, with increased onsite presence during peak periods)
  • Work hours generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Highly collaborative, meeting-driven environment with significant stakeholder interaction
Compensation
  • $95-$115 per hour, depending on experience
Additional Notes
This role is best suited for a hands-on Project Manager who is still actively driving execution. Candidates at the Director or VP level will not be a fit.
