Location: Woburn, MA or Dayton, OH or Arlington, VA. Remote/hybrid work environment but must be able to commute to Client office as needed for program activities.

Hourly rate based on Experience is $75-$85 per hour

Nice to have:

• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance

Target start date: May 2026

Anticipated duration: 12 months (depending on performance and/or program progress)

Expected loading: 40 hours / week
Client is hiring a Lead Jira Specialist to support a Scrum Master on a high-visibility government program. In this role, you will own day-to-day Jira execution within an established environment, including maintaining boards, capturing inputs from technical leads, and producing accurate, on-demand reporting for government stakeholders. To be successful, you should be a Jira power user who understands software development workflows well enough to translate team activity into clear, structured artifacts and insights resulting from a Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) Agile process.

To be successful in this role, you need to be a highly detail-oriented Jira specialist with at least 5 years of directly applicable experience supporting efforts as outlined above. Experience managing across a program hierarchy of 6-12 Agile Teams is highly desired. This role requires strong cross-team coordination, rapid context absorption, and the ability to ensure data integrity and traceability across the program.

What you will do:

• Own day-to-day Jira execution
• Maintain Jira boards informed/updated by inputs from technical leads
• Produce accurate, on-demand reporting

Who you are:

• This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government
• Minimum 5 years of directly applicable experience in Jira and supporting government programs
• Familiarity with software development
• Background should include a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience; Master's degree and at least 3 years of applicable experience; or PhD. Equivalent experience will be considered
