Senior Network Engineer/F5/Firewall/Arista/London

Overview

We are seeking two experienced Senior Network Engineers to join a high-impact project delivering low-level design and implementation across a complex enterprise network environment.

This role requires a well-rounded, senior-level engineer with a strong mix of F5, Firewall, and switching (Arista) expertise, capable of working hands-on while contributing to detailed design and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver low-level design (LLD) and hands-on implementation of network solutions
• Configure, deploy, and support F5 (primarily LTM) across both physical and virtual environments
• Implement and manage Firewall solutions (Palo Alto and Fortinet)
• Work with Arista switching technologies within enterprise-scale environments
• Support network optimisation, upgrades, and migrations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience no across:
• F5 BIG-IP (LTM essential)
• Firewalls - Palo Alto and/or Fortinet (both preferred)
• Arista switching
• Proven track record in low-level design and implementation
• Deep understanding of enterprise networking (routing, switching, security)
• Experience working in complex, large-scale environments
• Ability to work independently in a senior, hands-on capacity

Desirable Skills

• Experience with multicast networking (highly desirable but not essential)
• Exposure to hybrid or multi-vendor environments

Location: UK (Remote with occasional travel to London - approx. 1 day per week)

Contract: 6 months

Rate: £470 per day (Inside IR35)
