We're looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join an agile team delivering a GOV.UK service focused on improving the County Parish Holding (CPH) registration process for livestock keepers.

The project is entering Private Beta and requires an experienced engineer to develop services, build APIs and integrate with existing Defra systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Node.js and HAPI
• Build and support REST APIs
• Integrate with existing Defra and ALB systems
• Work within an agile delivery team
• Produce well-tested, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews
• Contribute to sprint planning, refinement and estimation
• Support CI/CD and deployment activities
• Help define and refine acceptance criteria
• Follow secure development practices
