This is an opportunity for an experienced Python Developer to join a global insurance organisation that is scaling its technology platforms to support continued international growth. Operating Outside IR35, this contract offers the flexibility senior contractors want, combined with the stability of a well-funded, long-term programme of work.

You won't be stepping into a maintenance-heavy environment. Instead, you'll contribute to the evolution of core platforms, building scalable, containerised services that support enterprise-level operations across multiple regions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and developing scalable Python services

• Building and deploying containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Contributing to architecture discussions and system improvements
• Collaborating with experienced engineers in a distributed environment

What You'll Need

• 8+ years' commercial Python development experience
• Strong SQL expertise
• Proven hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Confidence operating in a senior engineering environment
