A high-growth, well-funded business on trajectory toward a public listing is looking to appoint a Senior SOX Analyst with a strong technical accounting background.
This is a hands-on second line of defence role, supporting the build and design of a SOX-compliant control environment in a business where financial processes and controls are still being developed.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement SOX controls across technical accounting and financial reporting areas
Work closely with finance teams to build processes alongside controls in a developing environment
Support the design of controls across:
Consolidations and group reporting
Intercompany and eliminations
Joint ventures and complex accounting areas
Holding company accounting
Ensure controls are aligned to financial reporting requirements and future listing expectations
Partner with stakeholders across group finance to embed a scalable and consistent control framework
Contribute to the broader SOX readiness programme
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting background, including:
Consolidations
Intercompany and eliminations
Group / holding structures
Financial reporting
Exposure to joint ventures or complex accounting areas
Experience working in a SOX environment (second line of defence)
Track record of building processes and controls in a changing or high-growth business
Hands-on approach with the ability to operate at pace
Able to work in London a couple of times per week
