The Opportunity
As the Senior Systems Engineer, you'll be at the heart of driving and enhancing MBSE capability across a major engineering environment. You'll work alongside technical experts, business leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to develop robust engineering models, improve system integration, and support key programme decision-making.
This role offers genuine technical challenge, long-term project work, and the chance to influence the future of systems engineering delivery within a highly secure and advanced environment.

Responsibilities
Supporting and advancing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices
Managing requirements, interfaces, trade studies, and system integration activities
Maintaining the integrity, consistency, and usability of complex engineering models
Developing clear reporting tools and visualisations for stakeholders
Supporting integration between MBSE tools, systems, and wider engineering functions
Producing and analysing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Collaborating with technical specialists and senior stakeholders across the organisation
Developing verification and validation strategies to ensure engineering accuracy and traceability
Supporting and maintaining SQL databases to ensure reliable engineering data

Skills/Qualifications
Strong experience working within Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Proven ability to manage complex engineering models and system integrations
Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualisation tools
Good understanding of SQL/database management
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience developing verification and validation strategies within engineering or defence environments
