Service Designer (SC Cleared)

Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months
Clearance: Active SC Clearance - Mandatory

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Designer to support a Central Government digital programme. This role requires a pure service design specialist who can lead end-to-end service design activity and work confidently within complex government environments.

While full project details are currently limited, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong service design leadership, operate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces, and deliver work aligned to GDS standards.

• Active SC Clearance (must be held and transferable)
• Proven experience as a Service Designer
• Strong and recent Central Government delivery experience
• Deep familiarity with GDS principles and the Government Service Standard
• Experience leading service design across complex programmes
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• 6-month contract
• Hybrid working with regular attendance in London
• SC clearance is a strict requirement for this role
