Service Desk Analyst, £190 per day inside IR35

2 weeks initially, Birmingham

Bench IT are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join a large organisation ASAP to assist on an initial short term contract supporting internal users and clients across a range of systems and technologies.

Please note due to the nature of this role working full time onsite in Birmingham is mandatory.

The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs
  • Provide 1st line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Escalate complex incidents to 2nd or 3rd line teams when required
  • Support users with account access, password resets, and system troubleshooting
  • Supporting Microsoft technology: Windows 10/11, office 365, Active Directory etc
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and service improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an IT Service Desk, Helpdesk, or IT Support role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience working with IT ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft applications, and networking fundamentals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads
