ServiceNow Developer/Lead At Mclean, VA or Richmond, VA or Plano, TX

All Interviews will have to be in person in Mclean, VA or Richmond, VA or Plano, TX. Candidates need to already be in one of the 3 locations. Mclean, VA is the strongly preferred location. Skill set is very similar just need more experience with the Senior Level Role.

Two Roles:

1 : Senior ServiceNow Developer (10+ Years of Experience, has more architecture experience)- (super senior)

2: ServiceNow Developer (8+ Years of Experience)

ServiceNow Developer Onsite under Hybrid Model in Mclean, VA, Richmond, VA, or Plano, TX 12-month contract

NOTES

Absolute Must: Hands-on developing of ServiceNow CMDB and IT Asset Management modules and partner with enterprise tools/systems to integrate as needed

Understanding the CMDB workflow is such a crucial part of this role

Experience with merging, looking at future states, bringing systems/models together.

Well versed with Platform experience and API development

ITSM, ITRM, CMDB, ServiceNow

Supporting the Discover Integration with CORE Group

Strong with ITSM workflows, bringing all asset inventory together

ServiceNow Dev Certified is a plus

Interview will involve a coding exercise onsite with a panel of team members

DESCRIPTION:

ServiceNow Developers : Well versed with Platform experience and API

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hands-on developing of ServiceNow CMDB and IT Asset Management modules and partner with enterprise tools/systems to integrate as needed

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

Continuously improve software engineering practices

Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies

Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of solutions

Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

At least 3 years of ServiceNow Development Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

• Lead complex cross functional initiatives. Experience working with customers/stakeholder and cross functional engineering teams to identify business and platform needs/problems, design solutions and take ownership of end to end development, deployment and maintenance of solutions.
• Strong hands on coding experience and ability to deliver software systems with high quality.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform capability. Be the SME for customers and go-to-person for engineering team members for solving complex engineering problems. Mentor and level up engineers through code review, architecture/design review and mentoring.
• Proven record of introducing new tools and technologies to improve software systems and teams productivity.
• 7+ years of Experience with ServiceNow platform and application development. Expert level understanding of
• Creating and maintaining ServiceNow objects like tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, script includes, workflows e
• ServiceNow platform scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), REST and SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow development tools
• Creating, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications for new and existing implementations.
• Create and configure functional data such as Notifications and Service Level Agreements.
• Work with the customer to ensure the configuration of ServiceNow meets their overall requirements including drafting technically focused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and knowledge transfer.
