ServiceNow Senior Solution Architect and Developer is required for an initial 2 month contract to support a public sector organisation with the optimisation, enhancement and strategic development of its ServiceNow platform.

Essential Skills Experience
Significant experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect and Senior Developer.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, design principles and best practices.
Proven experience implementing and delivering ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Extensive experience across ServiceNow ITSM modules and service management processes.
Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Experience designing scalable enterprise solutions within complex environments.
Experience providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.
Good understanding of ITIL-aligned service management practices.
Desirable Experience
Experience working within Public Sector organisations.
Knowledge of ServiceNow AI and intelligent automation capabilities.
Experience with integrations, CMDB, data models and platform governance.
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS or CTA.
You will play a key role in reviewing the current platform, identifying improvement opportunities and delivering technical solutions that enhance service management, automation and user experience.
You will provide both strategic guidance and practical delivery support, helping to establish best practice and build internal capability through knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Review and assess the existing ServiceNow architecture and platform configuration.
Provide architectural recommendations across:Incident Management
Change Management
Service Requests, including HR and Property Services
Service Catalogue structure and usability
Lead the planning and implementation of ServiceNows Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Develop and deploy automated testing capabilities into the live environment.
Review and optimise the current development backlog, identifying opportunities for:
Workflow improvements
SLA optimisation
Process automation
AI-enabled capabilities
Platform scalability and maintainability
Design scalable, supportable and best-practice ServiceNow solutions.
Provide hands-on configuration and development support where required.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and mentoring to client stakeholders.
Support governance, operating model development and platform best practices.
