Software Development Manager - J2EE, Spring, AWS - 6 months, Hybrid/Manchester, to £700 per day inside IR35

A Software Development Manager is required to work on a large, high profile IT Credit Risk migration Programme. You will have extensive software leadership/management, experience, ideally gained within a large financial services/banking/retail environment, with strong Java, J2EE/JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring frameworks, AWS (Amazon Web Services) analysis, development skills gained through the full software development life cycle (SDLC) with good knowledge of Agile. You will have experience of managing teams, dealing with the work allocation, One 2 Ones, appraisals, software incidents etc. You will have excellent stakeholder, 3rd party supplier management, communication skills. The role will be 70% management and 30% hands on, leading a team/squad, through the full development life cycle, liaising with the business, stakeholders, 3rd parties, technical teams, dealing with the software designs, reviewing the code, dealing with the work allocations, incidents, managing the team, One 2 Ones, appraisals etc. Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The role will require 2 days a week on site near Manchester.
