Solution Architect - Remote - M365, Okta, Identity, Azure - 3 months Initially - £704/day Inside

Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support a large-scale divestment/carve-out programme. This role will take a programme-level view across multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment between individual projects and the wider migration strategy. The successful candidate will lead the design of target-state architecture and oversee delivery across identity, security, infrastructure, and application enablement, ensuring a secure, compliant, and low-disruption transition away from the parent organisation.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months initially
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Predominantly Remote (occasional US travel may be required)

PAYE Rates:

• Pay Rate: £542/day
• Total Daily Earnings: £607/day (includes rolled up holiday at £65/day)

Umbrella Rate: £704/day

Technical Skills:
Broad, cross-domain technical understanding across enterprise IT landscapes, including:

• Microsoft 365 and tenant/domain separation.
• Identity & Access Management (Okta, Azure AD, federation, authentication models)
• Endpoint management and device migration strategies.
• Public cloud platforms (Azure)
• Enterprise application migration, integration and ERP alignment.
• Security tooling and controls across cloud and infrastructure.

Understanding of:

• Carve-out and separation architecture patterns.
• Migration planning, execution and dependency management across programmes.
• Identity, security and compliance considerations during organisational separation.
• Infrastructure design across hybrid and cloud-based environments.
• Application enablement during transition phases.

Soft Skills:

• Strong stakeholder engagement across technical, business and programme leadership teams.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and delivery levels within complex programmes.
• Clear and structured communication across diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational awareness and ability to manage interdependencies.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across multiple workstreams.
• Proactive, solutions-led approach within fast-moving transformation environments.
