What's the Job?

The Sourcing Buyer - Commodity Management (3 Month Contract) supports procurement and sourcing activities by negotiating with assigned suppliers to secure competitive commercial terms while meeting internal customer requirements. This role contributes to supplier strategy, sourcing execution, and commercial analysis, working closely with cross functional teams and supplier partners. The position requires solid sourcing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate within established procurement policies and procedures.
Pay-$33.7/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier strategies, panels, and negotiations
  • Negotiate terms and conditions and support Procurement
  • Perform sourcing analysis, purchasing activities, and claims management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate data and documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience
  • Fluency in French and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to travel within Canada
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in energy sector and electrical components sourcing
