Temporary Tax Administrative Support - Baltimore, MD

LHH is partnering with a financial services organization to hire a professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual to join the team temporarily from April 1 through June. This role will focus on the mailing, distribution, and organization of tax documents.

While prior tax experience is helpful, it is not required-strong administrative and organizational skills are the priority.

Key Details:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, onsite in Baltimore, MD
  • Pay: $23-$26 per hour, depending on experience
  • Duration: April - June (temporary)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, sort, and distribute tax documents and related materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems for client documents.
  • Track deadlines and document statuses to ensure timely distribution and completion.
  • Assist with data entry, document verification, and routine administrative tasks.
  • Respond professionally to internal staff requests and support smooth workflow coordination.
  • Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive tax information.
  • Support additional administrative or departmental projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Entry-level welcome; prior tax experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently and following structured processes.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
