Smart Education is recruiting Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a primary educational setting in Tamworth. The school has a strong emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment where pupils feel valued, grow in confidence, and are supported to achieve their best outcomes.

Job Requirements:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Experience supporting children in a school environment, ideally with additional needs
• Confidence in supporting behaviour and engagement
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
Role Responsibilities:
• Support pupils in class, small groups, and 1:1 where needed
• Aid access to learning through positive behaviour and engagement strategies
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
