The OpportunityWe re looking for an experienced Telephony/UC specialist to support a global telephony migration project for a major client. This is a short-term, outside IR35 contract offering flexibility and remote working.
The Project The successful contractor will lead/support the migration of Microsoft Teams Telephony to Zoom Phone across approximately 1,000 users, spanning four global regions. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused engagement requiring strong technical expertise in both platforms and experience managing multi-region rollouts.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and execute migration of telephony services from Microsoft Teams to Zoom Phone
- Coordinate rollout across four regions, ensuring minimal disruption to ~1,000 end users
- Manage number porting, call routing, and configuration across both platforms
- Liaise with regional stakeholders and IT teams to align on migration schedules
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during cutover
- Provide documentation and handover materials as required
Candidate Requirements - Proven experience migrating or integrating Microsoft Teams Telephony and Zoom Phone
- Experience with global/multi-region UC deployments
- Strong understanding of SIP trunking, number porting, and PSTN connectivity
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, contract capacity
- Available for an initial discovery call this Wednesday
