Technical Architect

WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a Technical/Enterprise Architect for an initial 6-month contract. This will be a hybrid working role with the expectation of one or two office visits per week.

We are looking for a candidate who can undertake the following:

• Define and maintain the architecture, covering current, transitional, and target states
• Lead the development of principles, standards, and models that align with the organisation's digital and data strategy
• Use or implement an Architecture platform to support transparency, modelling, and decision-making
• Work across the enterprise to ensure architectures support operational, analytical, and strategic needs
• Work with our technical architects to assess emerging technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns to inform future state design
• Collaborate with business, technology, and security architects to ensure cohesive and sustainable architecture outcomes

Essential skills:

• Proven experience designing and governing complex architectures in large organisations
• Strong knowledge of underlying data technologies
• Familiarity with cloud-native ecosystems (eg AWS, Azure)
