Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Location: Dublin - Leopardstown 3 days in office Contract: 6 months contract initially Rate: (Apply online only) Euros - inside umbrella Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to support data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience working with complex datasets and databases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications. Work with large and complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and data teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Perform data analysis using SQL and other tools to support decision-making. Support the design and implementation of data processes, controls, and reporting. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.Required Skills & Experience Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities. Solid experience with relational databases and SQL. Proven data analysis experience, including working with complex datasets.Preferred Skills & Experience Experience or exposure to one or more of the following: Data governance frameworks Data lineage and data controls BCBS 239 Risk Data Aggregation principles Work management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence Technologies such as MongoDB and/or Python Experience working in an Agile development environmentAdecco is a disability-confident employer.
