Technical Cyber Delivery Lead - Cyber & Safety Programmes
CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation to appoint a Technical Delivery Lead to spearhead and optimise cyber security and IT delivery as part of various Cyber & Safety programmes. The Technical Delivery Lead will be primarily outcomes (not ceremony) driven and will possess excellent, current technical knowledge of Cyber Security & general IT.
The Technical Delivery Lead will be embedded directly into delivery team(s) and partner with SME's to establish highest risk and highest values outcomes, as well as translating strategic initiatives (e.g. IAM, DLP) into clear work packages and deliverables.
The role is a 6-month initial contract and will require some infrequent on-site presence at client HQ in Greater Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities
Translate cyber and safety initiatives into prioritised deliverables and workstreams
Drive delivery across Cyber, IT, Risk, and Safety teams
Manage dependencies, sequencing, and delivery flow
Remove blockers and escalate issues where required
Partner with SMEs to prioritise high-risk and high-value activities
Maintain team momentum, clarity, and focus on outcomes
Apply technical cyber understanding to improve delivery plans and execution
Support alignment between technical delivery and strategic programme objectives
Required Experience
Proven experience in Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Technical Delivery roles
Strong understanding of cyber security programmes, including IAM, controls, and risk
Experience working across multiple technical teams and stakeholders
Ability to drive delivery and execution without formal authority
Strong coordination, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, outcome-focused environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
