Technical Architect / Tech Lead - Angular & Node.js (AWS)Contract 6 Months Dublin (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite) Up to £640/day Outside IR35

A leading organisation is seeking a hands-on Technical Architect / Tech Lead to join their team on an initial 6-month contract based in Dublin. This is an outside IR35 engagement offering up to £640 per day, with a hybrid working model requiring three days per week on-site.

The Role

This is a senior, dual-function position for a seasoned technologist who is equally comfortable designing enterprise-grade solutions and rolling up their sleeves to deliver them. The successful candidate will own architecture and delivery across a modern full-stack environment - Angular, Node.js, and AWS ECS/Fargate - within a General Insurance and Booking systems domain.

The role spans solution architecture, cloud and platform engineering, hands-on full-stack development, and technical leadership of a delivery team. Key outputs will include Solution Architecture Documents, C4 models, HLD/LLD artefacts, IaC templates, CI/CD pipelines, NFR packs, and runbooks.

What They're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings 10-15 years of total IT experience, including at least 5 years in architecture or solution design and 3+ years in a Tech Lead capacity. Hands-on strength across Angular, Node.js, and AWS is essential, as is demonstrable experience with the General Insurance booking lifecycle.

On the nice-to-have side: exposure to event-driven design, contract testing, and performance tuning will all be well regarded.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is expected.
