Technical Project Manager & Analyst
Hybrid working in London 3 days per week
(Apply online only) per day INSIDE IR35
3-Month rolling contract
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager & Analyst to join a global team responsible for delivering and scaling business-critical internal platforms used by employees across multiple regions and functions.
This role sits within a large-scale platform transformation programme, supporting the migration from an established third-party enterprise solution to a newly developed internal platform. Both platforms are currently operating in parallel as part of a phased global rollout, requiring careful coordination, stakeholder engagement, user analysis, operational support, and migration planning.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of project management, business analysis, product operations, and change management, helping drive adoption of the new platform while ensuring continuity of service for existing users.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys navigating ambiguity, working across complex stakeholder groups, and driving meaningful organisational change within a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Migration & Transformation
- Support the delivery of a large-scale platform migration programme involving multiple business functions and global user groups.
- Gather, analyse and document user requirements, workflows, use cases, and feature requests to support ongoing platform development.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand business needs, identify migration blockers, and define success criteria.
- Track migration progress through data analysis, reporting, and user adoption metrics.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to accelerate migration and improve user experience.
- Partner with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of migration objectives.
Project Management
- Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Maintain project plans, status updates, risks, issues, and action logs.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical delivery teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Support change management activities associated with platform adoption and organisational transformation.
Product Operations & User Support
- Manage day-to-day operational activities for the existing platform during the transition period.
- Support user onboarding, governance processes, and platform administration.
- Maintain user documentation, training materials, support resources, and operational procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for user queries, platform support, and adoption-related activities.
- Monitor platform usage and user feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Required Experience
- 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Product Operations, or a related delivery-focused role.
- Experience delivering complex technology, digital transformation, or platform migration projects within large organisations.
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams including product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user journeys, and process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivery quality.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting enterprise software implementations, migrations, or transformation programmes.
- Exposure to product management, product operations, user adoption, or change management initiatives.
- Experience working with user analytics, reporting, dashboarding, or operational metrics.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional product development environments.
- Experience working within highly matrixed, global organisations.
Personal Attributes
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys solving complex problems.
- Naturally curious with a desire to understand how systems, processes, and users interact.
- Confident challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborative and relationship-driven, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality user experiences and driving meaningful organisational change.
This version should attract candidates closer to the calibre of a Project Manager, Technical Programme Coordinator, Product Operations Manager, Business Analyst, or TPM who have managed enterprise migrations and stakeholder-heavy transformation programmes, rather than someone with only a year or two of project coordination experience.
